The W Minneapolis - Art deco meets trendy and modern. The W is a reappropriation of the famous Foshay tower. In our opinion it is the coolest hotel in Minneapolis.

Our suggestion would be to Hotwire or Priceline a 4 star hotel in downtown Minneapolis. In our experience this will land you at one of two places: the Minneapolis Hyatt or the Minneapolis Hilton. A good 'bid' is 50-55 dollars per night + tax. Parking is extra at the Hyatt ($13 / nt, as best we can recall) and Hilton (attached self-park garage + valet options). Both hotels are within a mile of The Depot.
